Planning Permission

Planning permission is usually required if you intend to carry out works that alter your homes appearance from the outside.

You need permission to make additions or extensions to your house, flat or maisonette but you do not need permission to carry out internal alterations or work which does not affect the external appearance unless there are special conditions placed on your property.

You should allow between four and six months to obtain all the necessary Planning and Building Control approvals.

Further information can be obtained from your local authority or the Planning Portal website.

I will be able to advise you of the planning process appropriate to your circumstances.

I will make all necessary relevant applications on your behalf and if the Planning Authority require the proposal to be revised I will amend the drawings and resubmit the plans at no extra cost.
